Ryan Garifine Gardens

Founded in Brooklyn by horticulturist and landscape designer Ryan Garifine in 2009, Ryan Garifine Gardens blends modern design sensibility with ecological consciousness. The company is currently based in East Hampton, NY.

Ryan Garifine

Ryan brings over a decade of experience in horticulture to his practice. He blends his passion for ecology into his work by focusing on ecological design, native species, drought-tolerance, and integrated pest management.

Having worked in ecological science as well as with top New York City landscape architects and designers, Ryan’s work bridges his local ecological knowledge and contemporary design sense utilizing his extensive plant knowledge and strong background in garden design and horticulture.

Ryan received his BS in Biology and Society, with an emphasis on Ecology and Environmental History from Cornell University. He has a Certificate in Horticulture from Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
